The jumps racing industry is excited to welcome patrons back to the track after a challenging 2020.

Steps have been taken by the racing industry and Warrnambool Racing Club to ensure that all Warrnambool May Carnival attendees will be able to enjoy themselves in a COVID friendly and safe manner.

All attendees must pre-register (if they are a member of Warrnambool Racing Club) or pre-purchase a ticket. No tickets will be sold at the door of the event. There will also be a strict QR code registration procedure on the day - friendly staff at Warrnambool Racing Club will guide all patrons through this process.

The Warrnambool Racing Club is committed to providing the highest standards of service, cleanliness and hygiene.

Carnival Sections

This year, the carnival will be broken up into two zones.

Zone 1 (GREEN) will be for Warrnambool Racing Club members. This zone will cover the Park Street Grass Area through to the Matilda Room Grandstand and towards the Front Office Grass Area.

Zone 2(BLUE) will be for the public. This zone will cover the Silver Dining Grass area through to the iconic Warrnambool Hill near Grafton Road.

The racing industry will also have a separate car parking section to the general public and members.

Please refer to the map below to see the perimeters of each zone.
