Jumps racing continues to go from strength to strength, particularly in regional areas. The ground staff awards seek to reward those hard-working participants and dedicated staff who care for, and prepare jumps racing horses.

The AJRA, along with CRV would like to acknowledge and celebrate the tireless work that goes on behind the scenes across the jumps racing fraternity.

The awards were first introduced in 2021 due to a two-season hiatus for the industry unable to attend race days.

Thanks to our sponsors at Country Racing Victoria and Ecycle Solutions winners will receive:

• $1500 cash sponsored by Country Racing Victoria to be spent by employer on the ground staff team.
• The individual winner will receive a 70" television worth $1850.00, sponsored by Ecycle Solutions.
• 12-month full membership to the AJRA worth $125.00

Nominations are now open for this year’s winner in Horsemanship, Excellence in Presentation on Race Day and Equine Welfare Life After Jumps Racing with entry forms available here.

Entries will close 31 August, 2023 with the winners announced at the AJRA Mosstrooper awards evening September 16th at the Cargo Hall in South Wharf.
