Racing Victoria (RV) has announced that the bet365 Terang meeting (jumps races) scheduled for Friday 22 March has been transferred to Warrnambool.

• The jumps races originally scheduled for bet365 Terang have been transferred to Warrnambool’s meeting on Monday 25 March;

• As a result, three maiden races have been taken off the Warrnambool program and moved to the Friday, 22 March program at Horsham. These are the maidens over 1200m, 1400m and 1700m.

RV and the Terang Racing Club (TRC) have agreed that the track requires additional time to recover from a busy recent schedule which has included multiple race meetings, jumps trials and jump-outs.

The transfer of this week’s meeting will ensure the TRC’s premier meeting, the Terang Cup, can proceed as programmed on Sunday 14 April.

The AJRA committee would like to thank the Terang racing club and track staff for providing a surface for trials as good as can be expected given the circumstances.

Races on Monday 25th are as follows:

• Maiden Hurdle (transferred from Terang)

• BM120 Hurdle (transferred from Terang)

• BM120 Steeplechase (transferred from Terang)
